# Slide Creator

Generate zero-dependency HTML presentations that run entirely in the browser.

## Core Philosophy

1. **Zero Dependencies** — Single HTML files with inline CSS/JS. No npm, no build tools.
2. **Show, Don't Tell** — Generate visual style previews; people can't articulate design preferences until they see options.
3. **Distinctive Design** — Avoid generic AI aesthetics (Inter font, purple gradients, predictable heroes).
4. **Viewport Fitting** — Slides fit exactly in the viewport. Overflowing content gets split, not squished.
5. **Plan Before Generate** — `--plan` creates an outline; `--generate` produces HTML from it.

## Planning Depths

slide-creator now supports **two user-facing planning depths**:

- `自动` / `Auto` — default path for fast drafts, light interaction, and direct generation momentum
- `精修` / `Polish` — deeper planning for decks that need stronger structure, visual locking, and page-aware image decisions

`参考驱动` remains supported, but only as an internal reference-driven branch inside `精修`.

Do not add a third top-level mode.

Auto-upgrade to `精修` when the request emphasizes deck thesis, narrative pacing, page roles, stronger visual system locking, brand alignment beyond preset choice, page-level image reasoning, or explicit planning confirmation before generation.

Image intent exists only in `精修`.

Planning depth changes narrative detail, not preset routing. If the same content stays on the same content type and the user did not request a new style, keep the same preset across `自动` and `精修`.

Language rule for mode labels:

- Chinese requests may show `自动` / `精修`
- English requests should show `Auto` / `Polish`
- Agents may parse either pair as the same two canonical planning depths

Timing contract:

- `plan` — planning / outline time
- `generate` — HTML generation time
- `validate` — validation time
- `polish` — post-generation fix / rerun time
- `total` — end-to-end elapsed time

Before generation starts, tell the user the expected time range:

- `Auto`: usually ~3-6 minutes end-to-end
- `Polish`: usually ~8-15 minutes end-to-end

## Generation Contract (Non-Negotiable)

**Every generated HTML file MUST include Presentation Mode.**

1. **Presentation Mode** - F5 / ▶ button, fullscreen scaling, `PresentMode` class (`body.presenting`, `#present-btn`, `#present-counter`)
2. **Edit Mode (default-on, optional)** - top-left hotzone, `✏ Edit` toggle, `contenteditable` on all text, notes panel (`#notes-panel`, `setupEditor()`). Include it by default and omit it only when the user explicitly chooses "No inline editing."

These are defined in `references/html-template.md`. **Read that file before writing any HTML**, regardless of how you entered the skill.

> Omitting Presentation Mode is a generation error. Omitting Edit Mode is allowed only when the user opted out.

## Review Mode (`--review`)

Run 16 content checkpoints against generated or existing HTML:

2. Execute all 16 checkpoints
3. Show confirmation window with results (✅ passed, 🔧 auto-fixable, ⚠️ needs confirmation, ❌ needs judgment)
4. User chooses: [全部自动修复] / [逐项确认] / [跳过]
5. Output fixed HTML + diagnostic report

**Polish mode**: Phase 3.5 Review runs automatically after generation.
**Auto mode**: Skips Phase 3.5 entirely.

## Command Routing

Parse the invocation first, then load only what that command needs:

| No flag (interactive) | `references/workflow.md` + **`references/html-template.md` before Phase 3** + `references/design-quality.md` before writing | Follow Phase 0-5 (Phase 3.5 Review only in Polish mode). |
| Content + style given directly | `references/html-template.md` + style file + `references/base-css.md` | Generate immediately — no Phase 1/2 needed. |

**Progressive disclosure rule:** each command loads only its required files. `--plan` never touches CSS. This keeps context focused and fast.

## Phase 0: Detect Mode (No-flag entry point)

**Read `references/workflow.md` for the full interactive workflow (Phases 1-5).**

Quick routing before reading workflow.md:

- **PLANNING.md exists** → read it as source of truth, skip to Phase 3. Load `references/html-template.md` before generating.
- **User provides source content + style directly** (e.g. a .txt/.md file + style name) → skip Phase 1/2. Load `references/html-template.md` + style file + `references/base-css.md`, then generate immediately.
- **User has a `.ppt/.pptx` file** → Phase 4 (PPT conversion).
- **User wants to enhance existing HTML** → read it, then follow the Enhancement Mode guardrails in `references/workflow.md` before editing.
- **Everything else** → Phase 1 (Content Discovery).

For planning depth, default to `自动`. Route to `精修` when the user explicitly asks for it or the request clearly needs stronger narrative shaping, tighter visual constraints, page roles, or image intent.

**Content-type → Style hints** (use when user hasn't chosen a style):
